First AMC entry
Topic: Announcements

This is my first entry in my AMC blog. The whole effort is to keep American Motors alive and well in the hearts of all owners, restorers, and the public in general. In this blog, I'll post pictures of all the AMC cars I've owned, as well as those I've seen in various places throughout the years. I'll also get into building these cars and engines for them.

Presently, I'm trying to put together the specs for the engine I hope to eter in the Popular Hot Rodding'Jegs EngineMasters Challenge, to be held at the University of Northern Ohio this September 29th through October 4th, 2008. This will be my third entry, and, hopefully, the best. In the following pages, I'll detail what happened, and how we did at the previous challenges, and where the engines are now. I'd also like to promote my web site, "american-motors-jeep-engines.com/americanmotorsandjeepenginebuilders". The YRL came out way longer than I wanted because I pushed the wrong button when creating the site, and added info I did not need. Also, this site was at one time "kustomkemps.tripod.com", for those of you who may have visited that site.

I was a long time member of NAMDRA, but ha

ve since joined AMO, as our club here in Portland, the RAM RODS, is associated with AMO. However, I plan to re-join NAMDRA asap. I am presently president of RAM RODS, and have enjoyed membership and fellowship with this club since moving to Portland in 2000.
